Bothell, Wash.-based Vertafore has named Alex Lintner president and CEO.
Linter will be joining Vertafore on Oct. 7, and he will also be joining the board of directors.
Lintner’s appointment is part of a managed executive transition, which has been coordinated by the lead investor team from TPG Capital and current CEO Euan Menzies. As part of the transition Menzies will continue to be actively involved with the company, and is assuming a new position as vice chairman of the board. Menzies cited personal reasons for his decision to step down from the CEO role, which he has held for the past 12 years.
Lintner most recently held the role of president of Intuit’s global business division. He joined Intuit in 2005 as senior vice president of corporate strategy and development after a career in management consulting with firms including The Boston Consulting Group.
Vertafore delivers software and services to more than 20,000 customers.
