Job Description

Under general supervision, the Analyst II is responsible for investigating, negotiating, and settling basic and occasionally moderately complex CAT personal property or liability insurance claims. The individual reviews the insurance policy, reviews reports and photos, evaluates damages, determines loss coverage, negotiates and settles claims and authorizes payments.

Key Responsibilities

鈥 Summarizes documents and enters into claim system notes

鈥 More advanced knowledge of all regional construction types and related repair methodologies

鈥 Negotiates and settles claims in accordance with business unit best practices

鈥 Handles contents inventories and basic and occasionally moderately complex pricing analysis and prepares claims reports

鈥 Handles ALE (additional living expense) claims, as needed

鈥 Reviews, evaluates, and submits potential underwriting referral actions

鈥 Investigates, reviews, determines, and verifies basic and occasionally moderately complex coverage/policy information

鈥 Documents a claim file with notes, evaluations, and decision-making process

Education

鈥 4 year Bachelors Degree (Preferred)

Experience

鈥 0-2 years experience (Preferred)

Supervisory Responsibilities

鈥 This job does not have supervisory duties.

Education & Experience (in lieu)

鈥 In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Compensation

Compensation offered for this role is $44,000.00 - 67,227.50 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.

The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation.
