The Analytics Team听
At Arity, our Business Intelligence team is at the core of helping us transform mobility. We not only know how to analyze and find meaning within billions of miles of driving data collected from smartphones, onboard devices and third parties; we are passionate about how it affects the end-users of our products. On our team people get the opportunity to build scalable distributed data pipelines, extract meaningful insights, and create eye-opening data visualizations. This is a Summer 2026 internship for students currently enrolled in a degree program. This role is responsible for the use and development of the data that powers analytics projects听 for internal and external audiences. This person partners with others on work with data analysts and analytic engineers on tactical solutions. This role will participate on new ETL work tracks for Business Intelligence from inception and prototyping to fully developed solutions. This is a highly dynamic position that requires a greater degree of flexibility, analytic agility, and the ability to rapidly adapt to changing business requirements/needs, new technologies, and data sources. This role also requires business acumen in order to output the best technical solutions.听听

Job Description听听
Utilize a multidisciplinary approach to Data Analytic problems combining technical expertise with analytics and business knowledge听
Work with other Data Analytic Engineers, Data Analysts, and business partners on embedded cross-functional teams; developing subject matter expertise in the business as well as data analytics听
Execute on requirements to develop datasets for use by Data Analysts and business users听
Execute rapid development of new data work tracks with fast iteration over quick sprints听
Leverage and enhance the data infrastructure required to support Analytic needs, including AirFlow, GCP Composer and BigQuery.听
Build test scripts, execute testing, work with data engineers, analysts and business partners to ensure end user acceptance听
Contribute to an environment that supports innovation and process improvement听
Contribute to the development of corporate research data files, information platforms or data spaces designed for exploring and understanding the data听
Demonstrate analytic agility to meeting fluid and dynamic business needs in this space听
听
Job Qualifications听听
Target start date: May/June 2026听
Currently pursuing and will be completing a bachelor鈥檚 degree in a field such as Computer Science or equivalent skills听
Basic familiarity with Python and/or Scala and SQL听
Familiarity with the software development lifecycle and source control (Github)听
Basic familiarity with visualization tools such as Tableau or Looker听
Computer Proficiency in Linux and bash听
Experience in time and task management听
Ability to learn new technologies听
Strong attention to detail听
Intermediate written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively collaborate with multi-disciplinary groups and all organizational levels听
听
Preferred:听
Currently pursuing a master鈥檚 degree in a field such as Computer Science or Data Analytics听
Development knowledge and experience in Spark or other distributed processing frameworks听
Familiarity with statistical concepts and related technology (scikit-learn, pandas, tensorflow) or geospatial analysis a plus听
